The world's major packing industry trade fair, Interpack Düsseldorf 2017, was as always one of our annual highlights. We've worked with 39 clients, from A for Actega to Z for Zeppelin, including many whom we've been looking after for many years but also many (and great) new ones, whose business we're also pleased to have.
So many clients, about 280 hostesses on the job and six stand parties – Melles & Stein was there with several project teams right from the word 'go' – and Ms Melles & Ms Stein were there every day as well. So what did our two executive board members remember about it?
Here's a small selection:
"The wonderful stand and the warm atmosphere at the Weber Maschinenbau stand. This is what makes work fun.
Our client Huber Packaging, which has relied on Melles & Stein since 1999. It's nice when people who work together get on so well.
Seeing our DRUPA clients Heidelberger Druckmaschinen and KBA. It was a small occasion this time but no less pleasant.
The 'Candy Ladies' at GEA: the sweet 'n' colourful dot on the 'i' at the 1,000 sq. m stand.
Our 'live' sandwich bar at Bizerba, where all paninis and focaccias are prepared 'à la minute' according to customers' requests. The truffle Tramezzini was unforgettable. Mmmm!
And if we're talking about "delicious", let's not forget Rommelag's barista coffee. It was 'All you need!'
The "Mission Total Care" at Optima, a trip in a space-ship simulator accompanied by our Space Girls. And after all the excitement, the first thing we needed was a cocktail (naturally non-alcoholic!).
All in all, a trade fair just the way we like it!"
