From now on, we can show our customers how much CO2 the catering for their trade fair appearance generates. And that's just the beginning!
Our aim is to be able to provide an individual CO2 report on all services that a customer has booked with us for a trade fair appearance. This includes food, drinks, snacks, staff including arrival and departure, accommodation and even equipment.
However, this data is not yet available anywhere, which is why we are working with our sustainability consultant Thomas Vogt from inova and the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research Heidelberg (ifeu) to determine the corresponding values. As I said, we can already offer this for catering, and we are working hard on the values for staff and equipment.
The added value for our customers is obvious: more and more of them need or want to report on their greenhouse gas emissions as transparently as possible, and this includes emissions from major events such as trade fairs. Determining all this data individually and manually is a huge effort, as we know from our own experience. We take this work off our customers' hands and create a detailed report, including a certificate, which can also be included directly in their sustainability report.
