Before it got down to sustainable trade fair catering, Melles & Stein had set about determining its own ecological footprint.
With our sustainability officer Katrin Oberließ and our external partner "inova", every aspect of the company was painstakingly scrutinized - whether it was travel, energy supply, vehicle fleet, office supplies, and so on.
Since then, we have made changes in many areas. Most of our office supplies are made from recycled materials, many processes have been digitized, employees can work in a home office and receive job tickets, domestic air travel has been eliminated, etc.
Our goal is to be listed in the German Sustainability Code (DKN) of the German government in order to make our continuous development transparent for all our customers and partners.
